Benefits Specialist – Darwin

Location: Mumbai
Experience: 5–10 Years

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Benefits Specialist – Darwin with experience in Darwin Benefits Administration, international benefits (non-US), payroll operations, and HR systems. The candidate will be responsible for managing benefits-related incidents, defects, integrations, payroll activities, annual enrollment processes, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of Darwin Box/Benefits Administration, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience working with international benefits and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Benefits & Payroll Operations

Manage incidents and JIRA tickets related to benefits data issues and ensure timely closure.
Monitor integration failures and coordinate with vendors for resolution.
Support the Process Manager in Darwin Box to complete payroll activities.
Review pre- and post-payroll queries and identify discrepancies before data is transferred to the payroll team.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits and payroll-related activities.

Annual & Ad Hoc Benefits Management

Manage annual benefits enrollment activities and enrollment windows.
Review and approve eligible exceptions related to qualifying life events such as marriage and childbirth.
Maintain and update benefits portal content based on vendor changes, additions, and contact information.
Support ad hoc benefits-related activities and process requirements.

Reporting & Analysis

Generate, analyze, and publish benefits reports periodically.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of benefits data and reports.
Provide structured reporting and insights to internal stakeholders and clients.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience in International Benefits Administration (Non-US) – Mandatory.
Hands-on experience with Darwin Benefits Administration / Darwin Box – Preferred.
Experience in Project Management and defect resolution – Preferred.
Experience with JIRA and ticket management.
Strong knowledge of Workday HR.
Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Data Analysis.
Strong MS Office skills.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong English communication skills for interacting with international clients, payroll teams, and vendors.
Experience in benefits administration and payroll workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on pilot processes.
Experience creating and maintaining process documentation.
Prior experience managing international/non-US benefits.
5–6 years of experience in international benefits and Darwin Box will be an added advantage.

Work Requirements

100% Work From Office – No remote option.
Flexible to work in rotational shifts.
Comfortable working in a 24x7 delivery model.
Ex-TCS employees are not eligible to apply.
