JOB DESCRIPTION
Are you an experienced Finance Master Data professional with expertise in Oracle ERP and Financial Data Governance? Join a leading global organization as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Financial Master Data Management, where you'll play a key role in driving data governance, system optimization, and operational excellence across enterprise finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the SME for Financial Master Data Management and enterprise data governance.
- Manage and maintain the Chart of Accounts (COA), Business Units (BU), Cost Centers, Legal Entities, and Department hierarchies.
- Oversee end-to-end Supplier and Vendor Master Data governance across global operations.
- Configure and maintain Oracle ERP master data using tools such as FBDI, WebADI, or ADFDI.
- Lead data quality initiatives, governance frameworks, and master data standardization.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls, Segregation of Duties (SoD), and internal audit requirements.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, IT, and Compliance teams to improve business processes and resolve data issues.
- Support ERP enhancements, system optimization, automation initiatives, and process improvements.
- Monitor service levels (SLAs), drive operational excellence, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum 15 years of regular full-time education (10+2+3).
- 4–8 years of experience in Financial Master Data Management or Finance Operations.
- Strong expertise in Oracle ERP Financial Modules.
- Experience managing:
- Financial Master Data (MDM)
- Vendor & Customer Master Data
- Chart of Accounts (COA)
- Business Unit and Organizational Hierarchies
- Strong understanding of SOX, Segregation of Duties (SoD), Internal Controls, and Audit Compliance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience managing teams and delivering against Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is an added advantage.
- Experience with Oracle ERP data migration and upload tools (FBDI, WebADI, ADFDI).
- Knowledge of automation, process optimization, and enterprise data governance best practices.
- Experience supporting global finance operations and cross-functional projects.
