Job Title: Fixed Assets Accounting – Team Lead

Location: Kolkata

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Fixed Assets Accounting Team Lead to manage end-to-end Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting processes. The role will be responsible for capitalization, depreciation, disposals, lease accounting, month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, financial controls, compliance, stakeholder management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting processes.
• Manage capitalization, depreciation, disposals, lease recognition, remeasurement, and reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, audit requirements, internal controls, and accounting standards.
• Manage IFRS 16 / ASC 842 Lease Accounting activities.
• Deliver services within defined SLAs, KPIs, quality, and accuracy standards.
• Drive process improvement, standardization, automation, and transformation initiatives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop team members and allocate work effectively.
• Handle stakeholder communication, escalations, risks, and issue resolution.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Work closely with stakeholders across diverse teams and ensure effective service delivery.
• Support ERP-based accounting processes using SAP/JDE.

Eligibility:
• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
• B.Com, M.Com, Bachelor's/Master's in Finance & Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Procurement/P2P is required.
• Willingness to work in ANZ shifts starting around 4/5 AM.
• Willingness to work 5 days from office.
• PAN and DOB are required for profile creation.
