PTP Team Leader

Location: Chennai
Experience: 5–8 Years
Shift: 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM
Role: PTP Team Leader

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PTP Team Leader with strong Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Finance & Accounting expertise to manage P2P operations and lead a team. The role involves ensuring SLA compliance, process governance, stakeholder management, invoice processing, payment-related activities, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the P2P team and ensure timely completion of all deliverables within agreed SLAs.
Monitor and govern P2P sub-processes, ensuring compliance with defined processes and controls.
Manage the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay cycle, including invoice processing, validation, query resolution, approvals, and payments.
Review accounting coding, approvals, vendor inquiries, and vendor statement reconciliations.
Work with approvers to resolve PO and invoice-related queries within agreed timelines.
Ensure invoices are processed accurately and efficiently in coordination with Accounts Payable and Finance teams.
Ensure compliance with VAT requirements, P2P controls, and governance standards.
Handle dispute management and vendor-related queries.
Maintain accurate P2P team records and prepare regular operational reports.
Monitor demand/input received by the team and present updates during team meetings.
Ensure process updates are validated, documented, and incorporated into SOPs.
Liaise with Payments, Disbursements, SOA, and Helpdesk teams.
Drive process improvements and support transformation initiatives.
Ensure adherence to SLA, quality, compliance, and governance requirements.
Provide guidance and coaching to team members and ensure effective people management.
Adhere to organizational code of conduct and compliance requirements.

Eligibility

Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
Graduation is compulsory.
Non-technical graduation in any stream; B.Com/M.Com or similar qualification preferred.
Must have prior P2P team handling / people management experience.
Candidates should be flexible to work in night and rotational shifts when required.
PAN and DOB are required for employee profile creation in the database.
Former and/or current TCS/Tata employees are not eligible for this position.
