Hiring: Processing Analyst (Web Crawler)

Role/Skill: Processing Analyst (Web Crawler)
Location: Thane / Chennai
Experience: 2–8 Years
Band: BPO 1 / BPO 2 / BPO 3
Salary: Up to ₹9 LPA

Eligibility

UG/PG in Computer Applications or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience working with website technologies
Basic knowledge of HTML/XML, JavaScript, and website technologies
Certification in any web development language is an added advantage
Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office
Willing to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts and weekends (if required)

Key Responsibilities

Research websites to identify newsworthy information.
Identify URLs and configure web crawlers/robots using client tools as per guidelines.
Analyze website coding and design to set up web crawlers efficiently.
Write simple scripts to resolve website-related issues during robot setup.
Use browser developer tools to understand website structures and HTML tags.
Identify and utilize HTML tags for accurate web crawler configuration.
Communicate with clients to understand requirements and resolve queries.
Handle process-related tickets using the ticketing system.
Prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards.
Adapt quickly to new technologies and process changes.

Required Skills

Knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, and website technologies
Website research and web crawler configuration experience
Strong internet browsing and web analysis skills
Good analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong planning, time management, and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a willingness to learn new technologies
