Processing Analyst (Web Crawler)

Location: Thane / Chennai

Experience: 2–8 Years

Educational Qualification

UG/PG in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Basic knowledge of HTML, XML, and JavaScript is mandatory.
Certification in any Web Development technology is an added advantage.

Experience

2–8 years of experience in Website Research, Web Technologies, or Web Crawling.
Experience working with HTML tags, browser developer tools, and website technologies.
Knowledge of scripting and automation concepts is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct website research to identify relevant and newsworthy information.
Identify website URLs and configure web crawler robots using client tools as per defined guidelines.
Analyze website structure, coding, and design to ensure successful robot setup.
Write basic scripts to resolve website-related issues during robot configuration.
Use browser developer tools to inspect website elements, HTML tags, and page structures.
Extract and utilize HTML tags for configuring web crawler robots accurately.
Communicate with customers to understand business requirements and resolve technical queries.
Manage and update tickets through the ticketing system.
Prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion while meeting SLA requirements.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver quality outcomes.
Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and process improvements.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, and website technologies.
Experience in Website Research and Web Crawling.
Strong understanding of browser developer tools and HTML inspection.
Good scripting knowledge to handle website-related issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
Good planning, decision-making, and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate across teams.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.

Work Requirements

Must be willing to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
Must be willing to work on weekends as per project requirements.
Work from Office.
