Procurement Team Member [Direct & Indirect]

Location: Mumbai, India | Work Setup: Onsite

Job Type: Full-time | Band: BPO 1/2/3 | Experience: 1–10 Years

Job ID: 407190 | Salary: Up to 9 LPA

Role Summary

Manage end-to-end transactional procurement for direct and indirect materials. Own PR to PO processing, spot buying, expediting, and supplier/user support in SAP/Oracle. Ensure timely execution, compliance, and cost-effective sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

- Transactional Procurement: Process Purchase Requisitions, create/amend POs, confirm POs, and maintain data accuracy

- Sourcing & Spot Buy: Send RFQs/enquiries, collect and evaluate quotations, do comparative bid analysis, and provide sourcing recommendations

- Order Management: Track and expedite POs to meet delivery commitments. Coordinate with stakeholders and suppliers for timely execution

- Helpdesk & Support: Resolve supplier and user procurement queries via helpdesk. Maintain procurement records and system data

- Compliance: Ensure adherence to procurement processes, organizational policies, and best practices

Required Experience & Skills

- Experience: 1–10 years in sourcing and transactional procurement. Direct + Indirect materials procurement exposure

- Operations: Hands-on in PR processing, PO creation/amendment, PO confirmations, Expediting, Helpdesk support

- Systems: Working knowledge of SAP and/or Oracle ERP. Strong MS Office and Excel

- Competencies: Excellent written & verbal communication, Customer-centric mindset, Team collaboration, Analytical & problem-solving, Results-oriented, Sourcing & project management

Preferred Profile

Experience across both sourcing and procurement operations. Ability to manage multiple activities. Strong stakeholder/supplier management. Knowledge of process improvement initiatives.
