Role/Skill: Tax Accounting Lead

Location: Hyderabad

Salary: up to 17 LPA

Education:

Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s in Taxation (MST), CPA, CA, CMA or CMI (Certified Member of the Institute) designation is highly preferred.

Tax Law Governance & Technical Tax Accounting

Oracle ERP & Tax Infrastructure Ownership

Tax Accounting Delivery Management, SLAs and KPIs, Team Management, Resource Planning, Customer Management

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s in Taxation (MST), CPA, CA, CMA or CMI (Certified Member of the Institute) designation is highly preferred.

• Experience: 7+ years of progressive multi-state Sales & Use tax compliance and tax accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a clear supervisory, lead, or shared services management capacity.

• ERP Expertise: Deep, advanced hands-on utilization of Oracle ERP (Cloud/Fusion or EBS modules) and its connectivity to external indirect tax software is mandatory.

• Core Competencies: Proven mastery of Service Delivery Management, SLA/KPI governance, and Stakeholder Relationship Management within a highly matrixed corporate layout.

Job Responsibility

We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategically minded Sales & Use Tax Lead to direct our global indirect tax operations and tax accounting function. In this role, you will be responsible for the governance of multi-state sales and use tax compliance, technical tax law research, and the integrity of tax balances on the general ledger.

With 7+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, you will act as the operational and strategic anchor—leading a high-performing tax team, managing executive stakeholder and client relationships, driving performance against strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and optimizing our Oracle ERP tax infrastructure to minimize corporate risk and maximize automation.
