Team Member – Japanese Language Expert

Location: Bangalore
Experience: 2–8 Years
Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Overview

We are looking for a Japanese Language Expert to support finance and accounting operations involving Japanese-speaking stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for handling Japanese and English invoices, coordinating approvals, resolving invoice-related queries, and supporting business stakeholders.

Educational Qualification

Graduation is compulsory.
JLPT N3 certification or graduation in Japanese Language is mandatory.
Relevant Japanese language certification or graduation in the specific language is required.

Key Responsibilities

Process invoices received in Japanese and English and submit them for approval.
Support the Finance team in obtaining necessary approvals for Japanese-language invoices.
Examine and resolve invoice-related issues by coordinating with business stakeholders.
Handle emails and tickets raised by business teams regarding invoices.
Translate and interpret Japanese-language communications as required.
Provide language support to Japan-speaking clients and stakeholders.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of assigned transactions.
Follow defined finance processes, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Reconciliation.
Working knowledge of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes.
Exposure to SAP Ariba is preferred.
Good knowledge of Finance & Accounting concepts.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Good working knowledge of MS Office.

Candidate Requirements

2–8 years of relevant experience.
Candidates with 3–5 years of experience are preferred.
JLPT N3 certification or Japanese Language graduation is mandatory.
Strong Japanese and English communication skills.
Ability to work with Japan-speaking clients and business stakeholders.
Ability to work from the Bangalore office during the 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM shift.

Important Requirements

Graduation is compulsory.
PAN and DOB are required for employee profile creation in the database.
Former and/or current TCS/Tata employees will not be accepted.
