Role/Skill: Media Operator II T2

**JOB SUMMARY**

The Media Operator II is responsible for delivering high-quality technical and compliance editing, mastering, and content preparation services supporting both EMEA and APAC operations. Combines full-scope QC responsibilities with advanced edit, conformance, localisation, and asset processing duties.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

*Technical Quality Control (QC)*

1. Perform full technical QC on long-form and short-form content (picture, audio, captions/subtitles, metadata).

2. Identify issues such as artefacts, audio sync, loudness non-compliance (LUF), incorrect channel configuration, dropouts, colour issues, PSE failures, UHD/HDR inconsistencies, subtitle/dubbing defects.

3. Document detailed QC notes and update systems accurately.

*Editing & Compliance*

1. Perform edits based on censorship/compliance guidelines; execute PSE/S&P edits, audio sweetening, multi-language audio conforms, version corrections.

2. Mastering and re-mastering for linear and non-linear platforms; format/frame-rate conversions and transcodes.

*Asset Management & Processing*

1. Capture and maintain technical metadata (timecodes, QC results, file lineage); prepare assets for VOD/digital delivery including UHD/HDR/Dolby requirements.

*Issue Resolution & Workflow Support*

1. Troubleshoot technical issues, determine root cause, collaborate on escalations; support SOP updates.

**Qualifications:** ITE/Diploma/Degree in media/video production/post production or related fields; 1–3 years experience in broadcast/post-production/QC/media operations; proficient in Adobe Creative Suite/DaVinci Resolve/Avid Pro Tools; strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
