Job Title: Finance and Accounts – BlackLine Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance and Accounts – BlackLine Consultant with 7–10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting and ERP applications. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, working with stakeholders and customers, configuring BlackLine solutions, and supporting finance-related processes and applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of BlackLine, preferably across all modules, with hands-on experience in Account Reconciliation, Task Management, and Journals. Experience with ICH, Cash Application, FRA, and BI Studio will be an added advantage.

The role requires the ability to interact directly with customers to understand business requirements, document requirements effectively, and distinguish between configuration and customization. Candidates should also possess strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, project, and delivery skills.

Key Responsibilities

Understand and analyze Finance & Accounting business requirements.
Work on BlackLine implementation and support, preferably across multiple modules.
Provide hands-on expertise in Account Reconciliation, Task Management, and Journals.
Work with ERP applications and understand their integration with finance processes.
Interact with customers and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Analyze requirements and determine appropriate configuration versus customization.
Troubleshoot application and process-related issues, including issues beyond the core module.
Support standard ERP reports and custom reporting requirements.
Contribute to project delivery and ensure effective stakeholder management.

Additional Advantage

Experience with ICH, Cash Application, FRA, and BI Studio will be an added advantage. CA, Cost Accountant, or an equivalent Finance qualification is also preferred.

Education

Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3).
B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, Bachelor's in Finance & Accounting, or equivalent qualification.
ERP certification/proficiency is preferred.
