Job Title : Assistant Manager – Procure to Pay (P2P) | Accounts Payable | Finance Operations | Chennai

Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Assistant Manager – Procure to Pay (P2P) to lead Procure-to-Pay operations, ensuring efficient accounts payable processes, SLA compliance, quality delivery, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate should have strong P2P expertise, team management experience, and the ability to drive operational excellence while managing client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Accounts Payable operations.
Allocate work, manage exceptions, and resolve complex process queries.
Review complex transactions, duplicate payments, foreign payments, and royalty calculations.
Monitor SLA adherence, quality, compliance, and operational performance.
Conduct governance calls and collaborate with clients and retained accounting teams.
Track operational metrics, prepare reports, and drive process improvement initiatives.
Lead and mentor team members while ensuring high productivity and service quality.

Required Skills

Strong Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Accounts Payable expertise.
Experience in Finance & Accounting operations.
Team handling and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced MS Office proficiency.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and client management skills.

Qualifications

MBA, M.Com, B.Com, or BBA (Finance & Accounts).
Minimum 15 years of regular full-time education (10+2+3).
7–10 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) or Accounts Payable operations.
Minimum 3 years of team handling experience preferred.
