Finance & Accounts – SAP Concur Finance Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Concur Finance Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Concur Expense, Travel, and Corporate Card solutions. The ideal candidate should possess functional consulting experience, a solid understanding of finance business processes, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver effective SAP Concur solutions.

Educational Qualification

Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10+2+3)
B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting
ERP certification or equivalent functional proficiency is preferred

Experience

7–10 years of overall experience
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on functional experience with SAP Concur

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with SAP Concur (Expense, Travel, and Corporate Card)
Knowledge of SAP Concur Travel and Invoice modules
Experience integrating SAP Concur with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other ERP systems
Strong understanding of finance business processes and travel & expense management
End-to-end understanding of business processes (P2P, O2C, R2R)
ERP application knowledge
Functional configuration and business requirement gathering
Preparation of functional specifications for enhancements and integrations
Knowledge of accounting concepts, VAT/GST, cost objects, and compliance controls
Experience in global implementations and rollout projects
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Client-facing or consulting experience

Good-to-Have Skills

Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant, or equivalent Finance qualification
Experience in project delivery and implementation
Understanding of cross-functional ERP modules
Ability to troubleshoot issues beyond the core SAP Concur module
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP Concur functional solutions.
Configure and support SAP Concur Expense, Travel, and Corporate Card modules.
Collaborate with finance teams, business users, and shared services stakeholders.
Support integrations with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other ERP applications.
Prepare functional specifications for system enhancements and interfaces.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, VAT/GST regulations, and corporate policies.
Participate in global implementation, rollout, and support projects.
Troubleshoot functional issues and provide effective resolution.
Work closely with project teams to deliver high-quality SAP Concur solutions.
