We are hiring an experienced France Payroll Team Lead to lead end-to-end France Payroll Operations in a shared services environment. If you have strong expertise in French payroll processing, payroll accounting, and General Ledger (GL) reconciliation, we’d love to hear from you.

Location: Mumbai
Experience: 5–10 Years
Salary: ₹11–12 LPA

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree is mandatory
* 5–10 years of experience in France Payroll
* Strong expertise in end-to-end France payroll processing and payroll lifecycle management
* Hands-on experience with Payroll Accounting and General Ledger (GL) reconciliation
* Strong knowledge of French payroll regulations, taxation, statutory compliance, and social security
* Experience handling payroll month-end and year-end closing activities
* Experience working with payroll systems and HR/payroll applications
* Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
* Leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team
* Experience in a Shared Services or BPO environment is preferred
* French language proficiency is an advantage but not mandatory

Key Responsibilities

* Lead end-to-end France payroll processing for assigned entities or clients
* Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution in compliance with French statutory regulations
* Manage payroll inputs, validations, calculations, and payroll processing cycles
* Perform payroll-related General Ledger (GL) postings and reconciliations
* Execute month-end and year-end payroll closing activities
* Review payroll outputs, salary payments, deductions, and benefits processing
* Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to resolve payroll-related issues
* Investigate payroll discrepancies and manage escalations within defined SLAs
* Support payroll audits by providing reports and required documentation
* Maintain payroll process documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls
* Drive payroll process improvements and automation initiatives
* Mentor and support team members to ensure operational excellence
