Master Data Management Lead
Location: Chennai
Experience: 5–8 Years
Job Summary
We are looking for a Master Data Management Lead to manage and maintain accurate employee master data across HR, payroll, timekeeping, and benefits systems. The role involves employee lifecycle transactions, data reconciliation, reporting, compliance checks, and coordination with Payroll, Benefits, HR, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage employee master data changes including compensation, cost center, union code, office location, supervisor, job title, promotions, transfers, and employee status changes.
Process new hires, promotions, leave of absence, returns, terminations, reactivations, and subcontractor records.
Maintain and validate primary job number changes across locations.
Perform data reconciliation between HR, payroll, benefits, and timekeeping systems.
Analyze fallout reports and perform necessary data corrections.
Conduct pay rate, job data, anniversary bonus, and benefits-impacting audits.
Ensure employee data complies with company policies, labor regulations, and union agreements.
Process personal information updates including address, email, phone, banking, direct deposit, and SIN details.
Raise and manage IT tickets related to employee data and system access dependencies.
Coordinate with Payroll, Benefits, HR Business Partners, and IT teams for smooth transaction processing.
Maintain high levels of data accuracy, quality, and confidentiality.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll Operations, Master Data Management, or Order Management.
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
Good understanding of HR operations, payroll inputs, and employee lifecycle processes.
