Support (F&A) – Manager

Location: Gurgaon

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Support (F&A) – Manager to lead and manage Finance & Accounting operations across multiple towers, including PTP, OTC, RTR, Payroll, Project Costing, and Treasury. The role involves managing global stakeholders, ensuring SLA/KPI compliance, driving process improvements, and overseeing financial close, audits, governance, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage overall F&A operations across PTP, OTC, RTR, Payroll, Project Costing, and Treasury.
Oversee monthly and quarterly financial close activities and ensure timely completion.
Support statutory and internal audits, GFC compliance, tax audits, transfer pricing audits, and regulatory reporting.
Ensure books of accounts, reconciliations, fixed asset records, and financial records are maintained accurately.
Manage corporate governance activities, audit observations, external auditors, and consultants.
Ensure adherence to relevant controls and SOX compliance requirements.
Manage relationships with global stakeholders and support query resolution and ad-hoc reporting.
Conduct periodic SLA/KPI reviews and governance meetings with clients and business stakeholders.
Lead people management activities including mentoring, performance discussions, team huddles, and issue resolution.
Monitor exceptions and ensure timely resolution of operational issues and escalations.
Drive process transformation, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives.
Support KT and transition activities for new processes and clients.
Arrange periodic training for teams on accounting policies, procedures, and customer-specific requirements.
Handle BCP situations and ensure business continuity where required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

12–20 years of experience in core Finance & Accounting.
CPA, CA, or CWA qualification is desirable.
10+ years of team-handling/people-management experience.
Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and people-management skills.
Strong understanding of Finance & Accounting processes and process improvement.
Experience in SLA and KPI management.
Strong exposure to escalation and performance management.
Good knowledge of multiple ERP systems.
Excellent written and spoken English with a customer-service orientation.
Experience managing global stakeholders and working with tight turnaround timelines.
Exposure to audit, compliance, governance, and financial reporting.
Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an added advantage.
Experience in BCP situations, KT, and transition management is preferred.
