Job Title: Tax Accounting Lead

Education:

- Minimum 15 years of regular full-time education 10 + 2 + 3

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Master’s in Taxation MST, CPA, CA, CMA or CMI designation is highly preferred

Must Have Skills:

- Service Delivery and SLA Management

- Team Management and Leadership

- Stakeholder and Client Management

- Tax Law Governance and Technical Tax Accounting

- Oracle ERP and Tax Infrastructure Ownership

- Tax Accounting Delivery Management, SLAs and KPIs, Team Management, Resource Planning, Customer Management

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master’s in Taxation MST, CPA, CA, CMA or CMI designation is highly preferred

- Experience: 7 plus years of progressive multi-state Sales and Use tax compliance and tax accounting experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory, lead, or shared services management capacity

- ERP Expertise: Deep advanced hands-on utilization of Oracle ERP Cloud, Fusion or EBS modules and connectivity to external indirect tax software is mandatory

- Core Competencies: Proven mastery of Service Delivery Management, SLA and KPI governance, and Stakeholder Relationship Management within a highly matrixed corporate layout

Job Responsibility:

We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategically minded Sales and Use Tax Lead to direct our global indirect tax operations and tax accounting function. In this role, you will be responsible for the governance of multi-state sales and use tax compliance, technical tax law research, and the integrity of tax balances on the general ledger.

With 7 plus years of progressive corporate tax experience, you will act as the operational and strategic anchor, leading a high-performing tax team, managing executive stakeholder and client relationships, driving performance against strict Service Level Agreements SLAs, and optimizing our Oracle ERP tax infrastructure to minimize corporate risk and maximize automation.
