Job Title: Mandarin/Cantonese Business Development Manager – BPO & CX Outsourcing

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Work Arrangement: Hybrid / Office-based at Rohas, KL

Salary: RM4,000 – RM7,000 + commission/incentives

About the Role

We are building a Malaysia-based multilingual customer support outsourcing service under MyGlit, focused on Mandarin and Cantonese support pods for companies needing chat, email, ticket, voice, or customer experience support.

We are looking for a Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking Business Development Manager with direct experience in BPO, contact center, CX, shared services, customer support outsourcing, or managed services.

This is not a normal recruitment role. We need someone who understands how companies buy outsourced customer support services and can open client conversations.

Responsibilities

- Identify companies needing Mandarin/Cantonese customer support.

- Approach CX Heads, Operations Heads, Customer Support Managers, Business Owners, HR Heads, and Contact Center Leaders.

- Generate discovery calls for multilingual support outsourcing opportunities.

- Understand client requirements such as language, number of agents, support channel, shifts, volume, SLA/KPI, training, and system access.

- Present MyGlit’s managed multilingual support pod model.

- Help prepare pilot proposals for 3–5 agent Mandarin/Cantonese support pods.

- Coordinate with recruitment, TL, QA, and operations teams.

- Support proposal follow-ups, pricing discussions, and client onboarding.

- Maintain clear pipeline reports of leads, calls, proposals, and closures.

Must-Have Requirements

- Fluent Mandarin communication.

- Cantonese is a strong advantage.

- Experience in BPO, contact center, CX, shared services, customer support outsourcing, or managed services.

- Experience speaking with clients about outsourced teams, support operations, staffing models, service delivery, or support processes.

- Understanding of terms like agents, TL, QA, SLA, KPI, AHT, tickets, chats, escalations, training, reporting, and productivity.

- Strong client-facing and business development skills.

- Able to work independently and generate new client conversations.

Preferred

- Experience selling BPO/contact center/customer support services.

- Existing network in BPO, CX, SaaS, e-commerce, travel, education, gaming, or Chinese-speaking customer markets.

- Experience with Mandarin/Cantonese support requirements.

- Experience preparing proposals, pricing discussions, or pilot offers.

Not Suitable For

This role is not suitable for candidates with only pure recruitment, generic sales, or candidate sourcing experience and no BPO/CX/client outsourcing exposure.
