Work Schedule: Initial Day Shift (8:30 AM – 6:00 PM), later transitioning to 12-hour rotational shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM / 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM)
Salary: RM2,000 – RM2,400

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Welding Technician (MIG) to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MIG welding, the ability to read technical drawings, and a strong understanding of welding safety standards. The role involves producing high-quality welds while maintaining productivity and adhering to workplace safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on metal components according to technical specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Inspect welded joints to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow health, safety, and quality procedures during all welding operations.
Perform basic maintenance and inspection of welding equipment.
Identify and report defects or equipment issues.
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily production targets.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other production-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Minimum 1–3 years of direct welding experience, preferably in MIG welding.
Ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual work.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information

Initial work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM.
Future work schedule: 12-hour rotational shifts (Day/Night).
Immediate joiners are preferred.
