Associate Customer Support (Japanese Language)
Cyberjaya, Malaysia | Full-Time Office | Rotational Shifts | RM 8,000–10,000 Basic + Allowances
About the Role
Your passion for helping people, combined with native-level Japanese, can create outstanding experiences for customers across Japan. Join a vibrant e-commerce environment where you’ll be the friendly voice solving inquiries, turning concerns into smiles, and delivering service that keeps customers coming back. In this full-time, office-based role in Cyberjaya, you’ll handle live calls with the warmth and professionalism that define exceptional support. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just launching your career, we provide the platform, tools, and visa sponsorship to bring your talent to Malaysia. If you’re customer-obsessed and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural team, this is your next big move.
What You’ll Do
Be the Voice of Resolution: Take live phone calls, listen actively, and provide accurate, end-to-end solutions for customer queries—always aiming for first-contact satisfaction.
Escalate with Precision: When an issue needs extra attention, you’ll escalate it per client guidelines to the right lead, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Champion Continuous Improvement: Share insights on process enhancements and best practices. Your feedback helps shape how we serve customers better.
Stay Sharp: Keep up with product updates, process changes, and new tools. We provide the learning; you bring the curiosity.
Own Your Schedule: Work 9-hour shifts on all rostered days, maintaining exemplary attendance and punctuality. You’ll be flexible across morning and afternoon rotations (8 AM–5 PM, 9 AM–6 PM, 1 PM–10 PM, or 3 PM–12 AM MYT), with shift allowances for afternoon shifts.
Support Ad‑hoc Needs: Step up for any additional tasks your supervisor assigns, contributing to a collaborative team spirit.
How You’ll Be Measured
Customer satisfaction that speaks for itself
Quality standards met on every contact
Consistent 9 hours of logged-in time per rostered day
KPI targets achieved within agreed limits
What You’ll Bring
Language Expertise: Japanese at a native level or JLPT N1 certification (unfortunately, JLPT N2 is not sufficient). You speak with clarity, empathy, and a professional tone that reassures customers.
Customer-First Mindset: A genuine passion for serving others. You display high levels of customer obsession, turning potentially stressful interactions into positive outcomes.
Flexibility & Resilience: Open to rotational shifts, including afternoon and late-evening schedules. You’re equally comfortable working in a bustling office and maintaining your energy during high-volume periods.
Education & Experience:
High School graduates: need at least 7–8 years of work experience.
Vocational/College graduates: need at least 4–5 years of work experience.
University graduates (or those graduating in 2026): no prior experience required—we’ll invest in your training.
E-commerce Know‑How (Preferred): Previous experience in an e-commerce customer support role is a distinct advantage, but not a dealbreaker.
Global Relocation Ready: You can be based anywhere in the world. We’ll support your move to Malaysia.
Work Environment & Benefits
Location: Work full-time from our modern office in Cyberjaya, a thriving tech and business hub.
Compensation: Basic salary of RM 8,000–10,000 (based on your customer service experience). Plus, a fixed RM 500 monthly transportation allowance and additional shift allowances for afternoon shifts.
Rotational Shifts: Choose from four shift windows between 8AM and midnight MYT. The afternoon shifts come with a premium.
Relocation Support: For international hires, we provide a one-way flight ticket and reimburse one week of hotel accommodation. Visa processing typically takes 3–4 months after you submit the required documents.
Growth & Stability: Join a global team that values your development, offers continuous learning, and provides clear pathways to senior roles.
