Application Support Engineer – Google Kubernetes Engine (CL9)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to support and maintain critical business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, DevOps practices, and application support, ensuring system reliability and high availability.

Key Responsibilities

Provide application support for critical business systems and applications.
Monitor system health and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and performance-related issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system operations.
Analyze system logs, metrics, and monitoring tools to identify issues.
Support cloud-based applications running on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
Participate in incident management, problem management, and change management activities.
Ensure system stability, scalability, and reliability.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Strong understanding of application support principles and best practices.
Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and technologies.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Ability to interpret system logs and performance metrics.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in the Philippines.
