SAP HANA DB Administrator

Location: Cebu City, Philippines

Work Setup: Hybrid

Work Schedule: Shifting schedule (depending on client and project requirements)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP HANA DB Administrator to join a dynamic technology team.

In this role, you will be responsible for administering, optimizing, troubleshooting, and maintaining SAP HANA databases while ensuring excellent system performance, security, and data integrity.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement database solutions, resolve technical issues, and support continuous system improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys solving complex database challenges and wants to grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer, maintain, and support SAP HANA database environments.

- Develop and implement effective SAP HANA database solutions.

- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.

- Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting.

- Ensure data integrity, availability, and overall database stability.

- Investigate and resolve database-related issues and technical concerns.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system enhancements and improvements.

- Participate actively in team discussions and contribute to technical solutions.

- Work independently and progressively develop expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

- Stay updated on SAP HANA technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

- Support initiatives that align business requirements with technology capabilities.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA DB Administration.

- Strong proficiency in SAP HANA Database Administration.

- Solid understanding of database management principles.

- Experience in database performance monitoring and tuning.

- Good knowledge of SAP HANA architecture and data modeling.

- Hands-on experience using SAP HANA Studio.

- Familiarity with SAP HANA security and authorization concepts.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.

- Comfortable working independently and collaborating with diverse technical teams.

- Willingness and flexibility to work on a shifting schedule, depending on project or client requirements.

Eligibility Requirements

- Applicants must currently be based in the Philippines.

- Candidates must already have the legal right to live and work in the Philippines.
