Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Custom Software Engineer with strong expertise in IBM z/OS Systems Administration. The role involves developing and supporting custom software solutions, optimizing system performance, collaborating with multiple teams, and providing technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and support software components and applications.
Manage and administer IBM z/OS systems.
Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for performance and reliability.
Collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to technical decisions.
Act as an SME and provide solutions for complex technical issues.
Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Monitor project progress and ensure delivery within timelines.
Implement software development and systems administration best practices.

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in IBM z/OS Systems Administration.
Expert-level proficiency in IBM z/OS.
Strong knowledge of system performance tuning and optimization.
Experience with COBOL and JCL.
Knowledge of database management and data storage solutions.
Understanding of security protocols and systems administration best practices.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Work Requirements

Onsite work in Manila is mandatory.
Willingness to work shifting/night schedules.
Willingness to travel when required for client/project engagements.
