Job Title: CUSTOM SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Work Setup: Onsite – Manila
Work Shift: Shifting

We are looking for an experienced Custom Software Engineer with strong expertise in IBM Db2 and Natural. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing software solutions while collaborating with teams to deliver scalable and high-performing applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop custom software solutions across systems and applications.
Design, code, and enhance application components based on business and technical requirements.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the relevant technology area.
Collaborate with and help manage the team to achieve project objectives.
Take responsibility for team-level decisions and contribute to key decisions across multiple teams.
Provide solutions to complex technical issues affecting the immediate team and other teams.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship to enhance team performance and technical capabilities.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize efficiency.
Participate in project planning and estimation activities to support the timely delivery of solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Apply modern development frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IBM Db2.
Expert proficiency in IBM Db2.
Strong proficiency in Natural.
Strong understanding of database design and optimization techniques.
Experience with SQL and database performance tuning.
Familiarity with software development methodologies, particularly Agile practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and technical teams.
