Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Malware Engineers with strong expertise in malware analysis, reverse engineering, incident response, and threat hunting. This role is ideal for cybersecurity professionals who can analyze sophisticated threats, develop actionable intelligence, and contribute to strengthening enterprise security defenses.

Key Responsibilities

Perform static and dynamic malware analysis and reverse engineer malicious software to understand threat behavior and impact.
Develop actionable threat intelligence based on malware analysis findings.
Support incident response and forensic investigations involving malware-related security incidents.
Collaborate with SOC, DFIR, and Threat Intelligence teams to strengthen detection and response capabilities.
Develop and maintain detection rules, malware signatures, and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs).
Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing to team members.
Partner with internal stakeholders to improve cybersecurity defenses and incident response strategies.
Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Malware Analysis, Malware Engineering, Reverse Engineering, or a closely related cybersecurity field.
Strong understanding of malware behavior, attack techniques, and threat actor methodologies.
Solid knowledge of Windows/Linux internals and operating systems.
Hands-on experience with malware analysis and reverse engineering tools such as:
- IDA Pro
- Ghidra
- x64dbg
- OllyDbg
- Malware sandbox environments
Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, and incident response.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings clearly.
Leadership, mentoring, or technical guidance experience is an advantage.

Eligibility

Must be willing to work onsite daily at Uptown BGC, Taguig.
Must be amenable to a shifting schedule.
