Network Engineer (Data Center & Infrastructure)

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly seasoned Network Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead and execute complex Data Center Network Infrastructure projects and application migrations. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end network delivery, design, configuration, and security across enterprise-level bank-grade environments.

Work Setup: Hybrid (3–4 Days Onsite / Remaining Days WFH)
Location: Eton Centris, Quezon Avenue, Quezon City, Manila
Work Schedule: Morning / Mid Shift

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Overall Experience: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience implementing complex Data Center Network Infrastructure and executing network project deployments involving application migration.
Stability: Proven track record of career stability (not a job hopper).

Core Technical Skills

Routing & Switching: At least 5 years at an expert level with Cisco NX-OS, IOS-XE, Catalyst, and Nexus platforms.
Virtualization: 1–2 years of hands-on experience with VMware NSX & DFW (Distributed Firewall).
Network Design & Protocols: Expert-level understanding of IP-based network architecture, TCP/IP, Ethernet, IGP, and BGP routing protocols. Deep experience configuring Cisco ACI.
Firewalls & Security: Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Juniper, and Cisco firewalls, specifically in migrating network infrastructure and application flows through firewalled environments.
SD-WAN & DNS: Exposure at a conceptual level.
Scripting: Basic knowledge of Python for automation.

Project & Delivery Responsibilities

Planning, coordination, and execution of assigned network delivery projects.
Coordinating with internal/external vendors, banking personnel, and key stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance with strict enterprise/bank network standards, processes, and controls.
Conducting documentation, knowledge transfer, and handovers to the operations team.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Recruitment Process

Paper Screening: Initial resume evaluation and endorsement to the Operations Team.
L1 Interview: Technical interview with the Practice / Operations Team.
Final Interview & Technical Assessment: Conducted by the Client’s Operations Team.
