SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT – SUPERVISOR

Location: McKinley, Taguig

Work Setup: Hybrid after training

Training: Fully onsite for approximately 2–3 months

Shift: Night Shift

Employment Type: Full-Time

Are you an experienced accounting professional with strong expertise in General Ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis?

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant – Supervisor to join a dynamic finance team and contribute to accurate financial reporting, month-end closing, audit support, and process improvement initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and post accurate journal entries in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
Perform account and bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Manage and maintain General Ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheet and P&L.
Prepare Trial Balance, accruals, invoices, and other accounting reports.
Analyze monthly and quarterly financial results, including trends and variances.
Handle and manipulate large data sets for financial reporting and analysis.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
Assist with internal and external audits and provide required documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes.
Contribute to automation and process improvement initiatives.
Utilize advanced Excel functions, including Pivot Tables, for financial analysis and reporting

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related Accounting course – required.
At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
CPA certification is preferred, but non-CPAs with strong relevant experience are welcome to apply.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Solid experience in:
- Journal Entries
- Trial Balance
- Balance Sheet / P&L
- General Ledger Management
- Account Reconciliation
- Financial Reporting
- Accruals
- Bank Reconciliation
- Financial Analysis
- Month-End / Quarter-End / Year-End Closing
Experience handling and manipulating large data sets – required.
Strong ERP experience such as SAP or similar systems.
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Strong knowledge of Pivot Tables and data analysis.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Multi-currency bank reconciliation experience is an advantage.
