Team Leader – UK Financial Collections

Job Title: Team Leader – UK Financial Collections
Account: UK Financial Collections
Location: Eton Centris, Quezon City
Work Setup: 100% Onsite
Work Shift: Shifting schedules aligned with UK time
Salary: Up to 30% hike on last drawn salary + PHP 2,400 allowance, depending on experience
Headcount: 3
Start Date: ASAP

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Team Leader with strong exposure to UK/US/AU banking and financial collections. The ideal candidate should have experience managing collection operations and teams, along with good knowledge of banking processes, collection bucket flows, reports, terminology, guidelines, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and lead a team handling financial/banking collections.
Monitor team performance and ensure collection targets and KPIs are achieved.
Manage collection operations and understand different collection bucket flows.
Review and analyze collection data, reports, and performance trends.
Ensure adherence to banking guidelines, processes, and applicable regulations.
Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to team members.
Track operational metrics and prepare reports for management.
Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of customer/process issues.
Drive process compliance, productivity, and continuous improvement.
Maintain effective communication with internal and client stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.
Minimum 2 years of experience in collection operations with team-handling exposure.
Experience in UK/US/AU Banking or Collections.
Strong knowledge of the banking domain and collection processes/bucket flows.
Experience managing collections teams and working with collection-related data and reports.
Good understanding of banking terminology, guidelines, and laws.
Excellent oral and written communication and listening skills.
Stable career history; candidates should not be frequent job hoppers.
Current or former Wipro employees are not eligible.
Experience in mortgage, auto/motor financing, collections, fraud, underwriting, payouts, or related financial operations is preferred.
