Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant – Supervisor to join our finance team. The role will be responsible for complex accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end/year-end closing, audit support, and financial analysis.

The position requires strong accounting knowledge, experience handling large data sets, and advanced Excel skills. The role will follow a hybrid work setup after 2–3 months of onsite training and requires a night shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post accurate journal entries in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial results.
Handle and manipulate large data sets for financial reporting and analysis.
Assist in preparing financial statements and other financial reports.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
Manage and maintain General Ledger accounts.
Prepare and review Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and P&L.
Handle accruals, invoices, contra-asset accounts, and bank reconciliations.
Support multi-currency bank reconciliation activities.
Perform financial analysis and identify trends and variances.
Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
Contribute to accounting process improvements and automation initiatives.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Required Qualifications

College graduate with a degree in Accounting – non-negotiable.
Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
CPA certification is preferred; non-CPA candidates may also be considered.
Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of accounting principles.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
Strong experience handling and manipulating large data sets – non-negotiable.
Proficiency in Intermediate to Advanced Excel.
Strong knowledge of Pivot Tables, including step-by-step creation and analysis – non-negotiable.
Experience with journal entries, Trial Balance, Balance Sheet/P&L, General Ledger, and account reconciliation.
Knowledge of financial reporting, accruals, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.
Experience supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
