Accounts Payable Specialist (Japanese Bilingual)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support our Japan operations. This role focuses on end-to-end AP processes, vendor management, and ensuring accurate, compliant financial transactions in a fast-paced shared services environment.
- Process high-volume invoices and expense reports using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Perform 3-way matching (PO, GR, Invoice) to ensure accuracy
- Execute vendor payments (wire, ACH, checks) based on agreed terms
- Support month-end close (accruals, reconciliations, journal entries)
- Manage vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in Japanese and English
- Translate AP-related communications and documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3+ years experience in Accounts Payable / P2P / General Accounting
- Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1/N2 preferred; strong N3 considered)
- Proficient in ERP systems and Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Competitive salary (PHP 90K–95K)
- Fixed weekends off
