Job Summary

We are looking for Application Engineers with a strong combination of business and IT knowledge to support enterprise applications, troubleshoot technical issues, and work closely with business users and technical teams. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, application support experience, and the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Provide application support and troubleshoot functional and technical issues.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into application and technical solutions.
Monitor application performance, system availability, and operational issues.
Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
Work with business users to understand requirements, issues, and process improvements.
Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, QA, and other IT stakeholders.
Support application enhancements, integrations, testing, and deployments.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), functional testing, and defect resolution.
Work with databases, APIs, integrations, and enterprise application environments.
Prepare technical and functional documentation when required.
Support incident, change, and problem management processes.
Identify opportunities to improve application reliability, performance, and user experience.
Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to business and technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience in Application Engineering, Application Support, Systems Analysis, or a related IT role.
Strong understanding of both business processes and IT systems.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience supporting enterprise applications and resolving production issues.
Knowledge of SQL and databases.
Understanding of REST APIs and system integrations.
Experience with application monitoring and performance troubleshooting.
Exposure to software development, scripting, or automation is an advantage.
Knowledge of cloud platforms is an advantage.
Experience with testing, UAT, and defect management.
Understanding of ITSM processes, incident management, and change management.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with both business and technical tea
