Job Title: APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEER – GCP

Work Setup: Onsite – Manila/Taguig

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues across critical business systems while ensuring their smooth and reliable operation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the assigned technology area.
Collaborate with and support the team in delivering effective application support services.
Take responsibility for team-level decisions and contribute to key decisions across multiple teams.
Identify and resolve issues affecting multiple components of critical business systems.
Ensure the smooth functioning, reliability, and performance of supported applications and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system-related challenges.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions to prevent recurring issues.
Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and other technical data to identify and resolve problems.
Provide solutions to complex technical issues across the immediate team and other teams.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Expert proficiency in Google Kubernetes Engine.
Strong understanding of application support principles and best practices.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and technologies.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies.
Strong experience in troubleshooting and resolving system-related issues.
Ability to analyze and interpret system logs and performance metrics.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Open to candidates currently based in the Philippines with the legal right to live and work in the country.
