We are looking for an experienced Custom Software Engineer with strong expertise in IBM z/OS Systems Administration.

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and optimizing custom software solutions across systems and applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to key technical decisions, and deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that meet business requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in IBM z/OS Systems Administration.
Collaborate with and help manage the team to achieve project objectives.
Take responsibility for team-level decisions and technical problem-solving.
Work with multiple teams and contribute to key project decisions.
Provide solutions to technical challenges across immediate and cross-functional teams.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentor team members.
Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.
Implement best practices in software development and systems administration.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems to improve performance and reliability.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IBM z/OS Systems Administration.
Expert proficiency in IBM z/OS Systems Administration.
Strong experience in system performance tuning and optimization.
Experience with mainframe programming languages, including COBOL and JCL.
Familiarity with database management systems and data storage solutions.
Knowledge of security protocols and systems administration best practices.
Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills.
