SAP MASTER DATA GOVERNANCE (MDG) CONSULTANT

SAP MDG | Data Migration | S/4HANA | Hybrid – Taguig | Shifting Schedule

THE ROLE

As an SAP Master Data Governance Consultant, you will contribute to business and technology transformation initiatives by designing, implementing, and improving Master Data Management and Governance solutions.

You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements, develop effective data strategies, improve processes, and deliver scalable SAP solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Transformation & SAP Data Management

- Analyze business requirements and recommend effective Master Data Management and Governance strategies.

- Conduct diagnostic assessments and qualitative/quantitative analysis.

- Design and implement operating models, processes, and organizational improvements.

- Develop high-level to-be processes using industry best practices.

- Support implementation planning, process improvements, and change management.

- Work closely with client teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

- Lead teams through problem definition, issue identification, and work-plan development.

- Ensure project activities are delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Build strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders.

- Manage stakeholder communication throughout project engagements.

- Participate in proposal development and client presentations.

- Understand client business objectives and translate them into effective SAP data solutions.

Practice & Capability Development

- Contribute to SAP Data Management thought leadership and solution development.

- Support the creation of IP, white papers, and project case studies.

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop innovative data management solutions.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of service offerings and value propositions.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

SAP Master Data Governance

- Strong experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).

- SAP ABAP development skills.

- Experience developing or configuring RICEFW objects for SAP MDG requirements.

- Knowledge of SAP workflows, BRF/BRF+, and Floorplan Manager (FPM).

- Understanding of SAP MDG data models and architecture.

- Knowledge of Customer Vendor Integration (CVI).

- Familiarity with Flex vs. Reuse modes and MDG deployment approaches.

SAP BusinessObjects Data Services

- Experience with SAP BODS.

- Ability to build extraction, transformation, mapping, and loading jobs.

- Knowledge of SQL/PS SQL.

- Experience with lookup functions, joins, query mapping, case functions, merge/map operations, and data validations.

SAP Master Data Migration

Experience with SAP data migration tools and processes, including:

- LSMW

- ABAP-based migration programs

- SAP tables and data objects

- Mock conversions and production data loads

SAP S/4HANA Data Migration

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration projects.

- Knowledge of LTMC / SAP Migration Cockpit.

- Ability to develop SAP load tools or ABAP programs.

- Strong understanding of SAP tables and data objects.

- Experience performing mock conversions through production loads.

Syniti Data Migration

- Experience with Syniti Advanced Data Migration (ADM).

- Ability to configure transformation rules and reports.

- Experience with SAP data objects, tables, mock conversions, and production loads.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or tertiary qualification in Business, Economics, Engineering, Law, Science, IT, or a related field.

- Solid professional experience in Master Data Management (MDM) or Master Data Governance (MDG).

- Previous consulting or internal project experience is highly preferred.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage priorities and deliver projects within deadlines.

- Strong understanding of how technology can support business transformation.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Willingness to travel when required.

- Willingness to work on a shifting schedule, depending on project requirements.

Client/project requirements

Experience: Strong SAP MDG / Master Data Management experience

Employment Eligibility: Applicants must currently be in the Philippines and have the legal right to live and work in the country.
