Job Summary

We are looking for a Security Engineer (SIEM & SOAR) – Associate Manager to lead enterprise-scale SIEM and SOAR solutions, security automation initiatives, and cybersecurity engineering teams. The role involves technical leadership, project delivery, stakeholder management, and transformation of modern security operations.

Key Responsibilities

Security Engineering Leadership

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise SIEM and SOAR solutions.
Define security monitoring strategies, detection roadmaps, and automation initiatives.
Establish engineering standards, operational processes, and governance.
Oversee integrations across cloud, endpoint, identity, and network security technologies.

Security Operations Transformation

Drive security automation programs to improve detection, response time, and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with SOC, threat hunting teams, and stakeholders to enhance security operations.
Identify emerging threats and recommend improvements to detection and response strategies.
Support audit, compliance, and risk management activities.

People & Delivery Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop cybersecurity engineering teams.
Manage project delivery, staffing, stakeholder engagement, and client communications.
Provide technical oversight and quality assurance across multiple initiatives.
Build team capabilities through coaching, training, and career development.

Required Qualifications

5–8 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
Strong hands-on SIEM and/or SOAR engineering experience.
2–3 years of people management, supervisory, or team leadership experience.
Experience delivering security engineering projects and client engagements.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Must be currently based in the Philippines with valid authorization to work in the country.

Technical Skills

SIEM: Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps, QRadar, ArcSight.
SOAR and security automation.
Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS Controls.
Threat detection and incident response.
Cloud security and security architecture.
Enterprise security operations.

Work Requirements

Hybrid work arrangement in Cubao.
Willingness to work on shifting schedules.
