Job Title : Security Engineer (SIEM & SOAR) – Associate Manager

Job Description

We are hiring a Security Engineer (SIEM & SOAR) – Associate Manager for a hybrid opportunity in Cubao, Philippines. The role will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise SIEM and SOAR capabilities while driving cybersecurity engineering excellence, security operations transformation, automation, and team development.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of cybersecurity experience, strong hands-on SIEM/SOAR expertise, and 2–3 years of people leadership experience. Experience with platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps, QRadar, or ArcSight, along with Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting, is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of enterprise SIEM and SOAR solutions.
Define security monitoring, threat detection, automation, and incident response strategies.
Drive security operations transformation through automation, improved detection coverage, and faster response.
Lead and mentor cybersecurity engineering teams while managing delivery, staffing, quality, and stakeholder engagement.
Collaborate with SOC, threat hunting, cloud, endpoint, identity, network security, and client teams to strengthen cyber defense capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
5–8 years of relevant cybersecurity experience with strong SIEM and/or SOAR engineering expertise.
Minimum 2–3 years of people management, supervisory, or team leadership experience.
Proven experience delivering security engineering projects and client engagements.
Strong experience with one or more SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Google SecOps, QRadar, or ArcSight.
Experience leading security automation and SOAR programs.
Strong scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Advanced knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS Controls, threat detection, and incident response.
Experience with cloud security, security architecture, and enterprise security operations.

Important Notes

Hybrid work setup in Cubao.
Candidates must be willing to work a shifting schedule.
