Senior Staff Accountant – Supervisor | Hybrid | Night Shift

Location: McKinley, Taguig
Work Setup: Hybrid after training
Training: 100% onsite for 2–3 months
Schedule: Night Shift
Salary: PHP 65,000 package
Signing Bonus: PHP 40,000
Start Date: ASAP

We’re hiring Senior Staff Accountants / Accounting Supervisors with strong General Ledger, account reconciliation, financial reporting, journal entries, and advanced Excel/data analysis experience.

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance – Accounting degree is non-negotiable.
4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
CPA is preferred but non-CPAs are welcome.
Strong knowledge of General Ledger (GL), journal entries, trial balance, Balance Sheet, P&L, accruals, and account reconciliation.
Hands-on experience with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
Experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, audit support, and bank reconciliation.
Advanced/intermediate Excel skills – mandatory.
Strong experience handling and manipulating large datasets/files – non-negotiable.
Pivot Tables – mandatory, including the ability to create and use Pivot Tables independently.
Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Zero Bank Balance experience/knowledge is required.
Multi-currency bank reconciliation experience is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post accurate journal entries and maintain the General Ledger.
Perform account, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare and analyze Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, P&L, and financial reports.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
Prepare invoices, accruals, and other accounting entries.
Analyze large datasets and perform financial data manipulation/reporting.
Identify financial trends, variances, and discrepancies.
Support internal/external audits and prepare audit documentation.
Drive process improvement and accounting automation initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
