Job title: Staff Accountant

Work location: Ayala , Makati

Work set up and schedule: Hybrid (Once training is completed)|Night Shift

Salary: 25k-27K

SD: ASAP

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting overall financial reporting. This role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•Prepare and record accurate journal entries in compliance with accounting standards.

•Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial data.

•Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

•Manage and review balance sheet accounts to ensure proper reporting.

•Prepare and issue invoices and ensure proper tracking of account balances.

•Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

•Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and evaluate performance.

•Review and analyze profit & loss statements for accuracy and variances.

•Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

•Support audits and provide necessary financial documentation as required.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 2–4 years of accounting experience in a similar role.

•Strong knowledge of journal entries, balance sheet management, general ledger, and reconciliations. •Experience with financial reporting, profit & loss, and financial analysis.

•Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

•Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

•Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
