• Finance Specialist
Position Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Specialist to join our team. The Finance Specialist will be responsible for supporting project management activities, ensuring that financial deliverables are completed on time, and meet quality standards. This role requires strong coordination skills, an ability to manage multiple priorities, and experience in project control activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance Management or a related field.
• 3+ years of Operations Finance experience or in a similar project support role is required.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
‣ Knowledgeable in using MS Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot etc)
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Ability to work independently while demonstrating flexibility
• A motivated self-starter who takes the initiative to bring issues to a resolution
• Highly organized and business process-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Should be amenable to work onsite on a hybrid setup in Taguig
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, track actual costs against forecasts, and manage financial reporting for the project. Ensure adherence to financial controls and approval processes. Also work on monthly activities such as invoicing, financial forecast, and accounting adjustments.
• Risk and Issue Management: Assist in identifying, monitoring, and managing project risks and issues. Ensure timely escalation and resolution by working closely with stakeholders.
• Resource Management: Help in tracking of resource allocations and availability.
• Documentation & Reporting: Assist/complete monthly status reports, financial reports, and metrics logs. Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
• Change Control: Assist with change management activities and ensure proper approval processes are followed.
• Client Communication: Work with all levels of Management, communicate and resolve issues, and maintain client satisfaction.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery within the AMS team.
Preferred Skills:
• Moderate/Advanced Excel skills for financial tracking.
