Job Title: Senior Microsoft Azure Integration & Container Specialist (IDSM)

Work Location: Ortigas Pasig ADB Office

Shift: Day shift (8am – 5pm)

Work Set-up: Hybrid (3x reporting on site per week)

Salary range: 95,000

Scope of Work/Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis & Planning
- Analyze project needs and define technical specifications for RIP Azure container applications.

Design & Architecture
- Design system architecture including logical grouping of Azure services per project within Azure Resource Groups.

Development & Configuration
- Build and configure Azure Container Apps (ACA) with Dapr for service communication and KEDA for autoscaling.
- Integrate Azure Service Bus (ASB) for messaging (queues and topics).

API Management
- Implement Azure API Management (APIM) for secure, well-documented, and monitored APIs.

Testing & Quality Assurance
- Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing.
- Implement automated testing to ensure system reliability.

Deployment & Monitoring
- Use Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform) to deploy apps.
- Configure monitoring and logging (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

Documentation & Training
- Document all technical processes and configurations.
- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders.

Support & Mentorship
- Troubleshoot RIP-related issues and mentor junior developers.

Key Deliverables

Project plan with timelines and resource allocation.

Detailed design documents and technical specifications.

Developed and configured RIP microservices and APIs using ADB-approved tools.

Complete system documentation and training materials.

Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience)

The ideal candidate for the RIP Developer role must possess the following qualifications:

• Essential Skills and Experience:

o Proven experience in developing and deploying applications using Azure Container Apps (ACA) and Azure Service Bus (ASB).

o Strong understanding of serverless container services, microservices architecture, and event-driven architecture.

o Proficiency in using Distributed Application Runtime (dapr), Kubernetes-based Event Driven Autoscaling (KEDA), and Envoy.

o Demonstrated ability to manage resource provisioning, access controls, and cost management within Azure Resource Groups.

o Experience with API Management (APIM) for creating, publishing, securing, monitoring, and analyzing APIs.

• Educational Qualifications:

o A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

o Desirable - Advanced certifications in Azure technologies, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable.

• Additional Experience:

o Experience with state management for stateful applications and services invocation to other microservices.

o Familiarity with message queues and publish-subscribe topics for scalable and reliable cloud-based applications.

o Knowledge of retry mechanisms and dead letter queues (DLQ) for message processing.

These qualifications and background ensure that the candidate is well-equipped to develop and manage highly scalable and reliable integration patterns using Azure services.

OTHERS:

• Should be amenable to work on a hybrid setup in Ortigas Pasig
