Job Title : 417095 Team Member-Japanese

Job Description – Team Member (Japanese Language Expert)

We are looking for a Japanese Language Expert to support finance operations involving Japanese and English-language invoices. The candidate will be responsible for translating and interpreting Japanese-language content, handling business inquiries, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting the Finance team in processing invoices and obtaining necessary approvals.

The role requires JLPT N3 certification or graduation in Japanese Language, along with good oral and written communication skills and working knowledge of MS Office. The candidate will examine and resolve invoice-related issues by coordinating with business stakeholders and will handle emails and tickets related to invoice processing.

Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Journal Entries, Reconciliation, P2P processes, and SAP Ariba will be an added advantage. A good understanding of Finance & Accounting concepts and strong English communication skills are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Process invoices received in Japanese and English and post invoices for approval.
Support the Finance team by obtaining necessary approvals for invoice processing.
Examine and resolve invoice-related issues in Japanese by coordinating with business stakeholders.
Handle business-related emails and tickets concerning invoices.
Translate and interpret Japanese-language content as required.
Provide language support to Japan-speaking clients and business stakeholders.
Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure smooth invoice processing.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders in Japanese and English.

Required Skills & Qualifications

JLPT N3 level certification OR Graduation in Japanese Language – Mandatory.
Ability to translate and interpret Japanese.
Ability to handle inquiries and provide support to Japan-speaking clients.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good working knowledge of MS Office.
Graduation is compulsory.
Relevant Japanese language certification or graduation in the specific language is required.

Good-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Journal Entries, and Reconciliation.
Working knowledge of P2P processes.
Exposure to SAP Ariba.
Good knowledge of Finance & Accounting concepts.
Strong English communication skills.
3–5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
