Job Title: France Payroll Team Lead

Location: Mumbai

Role Overview

TCS is looking for a France Payroll Team Lead to lead end-to-end France payroll operations and payroll accounting activities. The role involves payroll processing, General Ledger (GL) reconciliation, payroll compliance, statutory reporting, payroll month-end closing, stakeholder management, and team leadership while ensuring compliance with French payroll regulations and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end France payroll processing.
Manage payroll inputs, validations, calculations, and payroll execution.
Handle payroll-related General Ledger (GL) postings and reconciliations.
Perform payroll month-end and year-end closing activities.
Ensure compliance with French payroll regulations, taxation, and statutory requirements.
Review payroll outputs, salary payments, deductions, and employee benefits.
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and escalations.
Support payroll audits and statutory reporting.
Maintain payroll documentation and internal controls.
Drive payroll process improvements and automation initiatives.
Mentor and guide junior payroll team members.
