Job Title: Associate Manager – Record to Report (RTR)

Location: Chennai
Experience: 7–10 Years
Salary: ₹16–17 LPA

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Associate Manager – Record to Report (RTR) to lead end-to-end financial close and reporting activities. The role involves managing General Ledger operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, audits, and team leadership while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
Review and approve journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and adjustments.
Prepare and review trial balances, financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.
Manage General Ledger accounting and ensure accounting accuracy.
Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, fixed assets, payroll, and tax accounts.
Handle intercompany accounting, reconciliations, settlements, and eliminations.
Oversee fixed asset accounting, capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements.
Lead and mentor the RTR team, ensuring operational excellence and performance management.
Drive process improvements, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Procurement, Payroll, and Business Finance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
CA / CPA / ACCA / CMA (Preferred).
7–10 years of experience in RTR, General Ledger, or Financial Accounting.
Experience managing teams in Shared Services, BPO, GCC, or MNC environments.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, Financial Reporting, and Internal Controls.
Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, BlackLine, PeopleSoft, or similar ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
