Job Title: Pharmacovigilance IT Consultant

Location: Pune
Experience: 8 – 12 Years
Band: BPO 7

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacovigilance IT Consultant to drive digital transformation and innovation across the Pharmacovigilance (PV) / Drug Safety domain for global Life Sciences clients. The role involves delivering end-to-end business and technology solutions, shaping PV strategy, and leading large-scale transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Define the future Pharmacovigilance (PV) roadmap and industry direction for global clients
Lead and contribute to large transformation programs in PV / Clinical domains
Drive end-to-end solutioning across PV/Safety processes with supporting IT systems
Contribute to thought leadership (whitepapers, proposals, POVs, practice development)
Manage client relationships and lead discussions with senior stakeholders
Build partnerships with technology vendors and PV platforms
Develop solutions/frameworks across Clinical & Pharmacovigilance processes
Create use cases and PoCs using emerging technologies like GenAI, AI, IoT, Big Data, Blockchain, etc.
Mentor junior consultants and support practice building initiatives

Required Technical & Domain Skills

Strong experience in Pharmacovigilance / Drug Safety domain
Exposure to Life Sciences IT solutions and transformation programs
Experience in solution development, consulting, and client engagement
Knowledge of PV/Clinical systems and processes
Ability to work on emerging technologies and innovation use cases

Educational Qualification

IT Graduate (B.Tech / BE / M.Tech / MCA)
Must have Pharmacovigilance domain exposure

Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
Excellent stakeholder and client management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in dynamic and high-pressure environments
Flexible and open to travel
