Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Experience: 3–5 Years
Salary: Negotiable
Eligibility: Local Malaysians Only
We are looking for a skilled professional to support report development, production reporting environments, ETL processes, and system integrations within a banking or enterprise environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop, maintain, and optimise SSRS reports.
• Design paginated and parameterised reports.
• Manage datasets and data sources.
• Configure report subscriptions, scheduling, and automation.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and optimise report performance.
• Gather user requirements and translate them into effective report designs.
• Develop and optimise advanced T-SQL scripts, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers.
• Support SQL Server Agent jobs and production reporting environments.
• Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL, data migration, and transformation.
• Support system integrations, data mapping, reconciliation, batch processing, and file-based interfaces.
• Work with PowerShell automation, SSH/SFTP file transfers, and PGP/GPG encryption and decryption.
• Provide efficient incident resolution and production support.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
3–5 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
Strong hands-on experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Experience supporting production reporting environments.
Experience within banking or financial services will be an added advantage.
