Machine Operator (CNC Turret Punch)

Location: Balakong, Selangor, Malaysia
Work Setup: Onsite
Employment Type: Permanent

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator (CNC Turret Punch) to join our manufacturing team in Balakong, Selangor. The ideal candidate should have experience operating CNC Turret Punch machines in the metal fabrication industry and possess strong knowledge of engineering drawings, machine setup, and precision measurement tools.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC Turret Punch machines to produce precision metal parts.
Ensure finished products meet engineering specifications using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
Perform machine setup and changeovers for different product lines and material requirements.
Handle daily operational activities related to CNC punching machines.
Coordinate with Warehouse and Production teams to ensure smooth material and component flow.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Support training activities whenever required.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience operating CNC Turret Punch machines.
Experience in the Metal Fabrication industry is preferred.
Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret Mechanical Engineering Drawings (Blueprints).
Good understanding of engineering tolerances and precision measurements.
Knowledge of machine setup and multiple production changeovers.
Familiarity with Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures.
Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
Self-motivated, independent, and a good team player.

Salary & Benefits

Gross Salary: RM 2,000 – RM 2,400 (Including Allowances)
Transport Allowance: RM 100 – RM 125
Attendance Allowance: RM 75

Working Hours

Initial Schedule: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Later transition to 12-hour rotating shifts:

8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
