Senior Tester

Location: PJ / Subang Jaya, Malaysia
Work Setup: Onsite
Work Schedule: Regular Day Shift (No Shift)
Notice Period: Immediately Available / ASAP
Nationality: Malaysian Citizens Only

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tester to join our team in PJ/Subang Jaya. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software quality assurance, mobile application testing, API testing, and test planning. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and business stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery while supporting new product releases and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Perform functional, regression, integration, mobile, and API testing.
Validate backend services through API testing using tools such as Postman.
Identify, document, track, and report software defects.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Business Units, and Vendors to ensure quality deliverables.
Evaluate and report test execution results with clear documentation.
Support and contribute to test automation initiatives and maintain automation frameworks.
Work closely with the QA Manager to improve QA processes, testing strategies, and overall product quality.
Provide technical guidance on testing best practices and automation within project teams.
Ensure software releases meet business requirements and quality standards.

Requirements

5–6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA).
Strong experience in:
- Test Planning
- Test Case Design
- Defect Management & Reporting
- Mobile Application Testing
- API Testing (Integrated APIs) using Postman
Experience with scripting/programming for testing purposes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
Test Automation knowledge is an added advantage.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
