Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Welding Technician (MIG) to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MIG welding, be able to interpret technical drawings, and follow safety standards while producing high-quality work. This role is suitable for candidates who are physically fit, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding according to technical drawings and specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols accurately.
Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards.
Inspect completed welds and carry out necessary corrections when required.
Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow company health, safety, and operational procedures at all times.
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily production targets.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in welding, preferably MIG welding.
Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Ability to read technical drawings and welding symbols.
Good knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

Transport Allowance: RM 100 – RM 125

Attendance Allowance: RM 75

Working Hours

Initial Schedule: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Later transition to 12-hour rotating shifts:
- 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
