Position: Medical Coding Team Leader
Location: BGC, Taguig (Onsite)
Salary: Up to Php 90,000 (based on experience)
Job Type: Permanent
Shifts: Rotational

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Medical Coding Team Leader to oversee day-to-day operations of our Coding and Auditing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ED-Emergency facility coding, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record in managing coding teams to meet productivity and quality standards. You will play a key role in supporting and guiding the team, providing feedback, and ensuring optimal team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations of the Coding and Auditing Services team to ensure productivity and quality targets are met.
- Oversee team utilization, ensuring optimal efficiency based on volume, attendance, and attrition.
- Analyze team performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve results.
- Provide coding expertise, support, and education to the team by addressing complex coding cases and answering questions.
- Conduct audits and provide detailed feedback to improve team performance.
- Collaborate with company and client leadership to ensure consistent communication and client satisfaction.
- Maintain and track operational records for effective monitoring and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and client requirements.
- Continuously monitor team performance and provide mentorship to drive results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or any healthcare/paramedical field (Registered Nurses preferred), or equivalent graduation.
- Strong understanding of Anatomy and Physiology.
- Expertise in ED-Emergency facility coding with a minimum of 3-4 years of coding experience.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Team Leader in a similar role.
- Demonstrated success in meeting productivity and quality goals in previous roles.
- Experience in team management, auditing, and providing feedback.
- Knowledge of AAPC or AHIMA certifications is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Flexible to work in rotational shifts.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify performance gaps and implement solutions.
