Job Title: Senior Azure Data Engineer

Position ID: J1025-1801

Location: Taguig City (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Salary Range: PHP 90,000 – 120,000

Schedule: Mid to Night Shift

Experience Required: 5+ years

Non-Negotiable Requirements

5+ years total experience as an Azure Data Engineer

At least 1 year hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark

Strong skills in:
- Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL, Azure Key Vault
- Azure Databricks, Databricks Notebooks, Azure Data Lake / Data Lake Storage

Experience in migration and modernization projects

Proficient in building data pipelines using Python, PySpark, Scala, and SQL

Must be willing to work hybrid (Taguig) and on mid to night shift

Role Overview

The Senior Azure Data Engineer will join the Digitalization & Automation Services Team, working closely with the Dev Team, Technical Lead, and Service Delivery Manager.

They will design, implement, and optimize data storage and ETL solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring seamless data movement, transformation, and availability.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data storage and ETL solutions using Azure SQL, Data Lake Storage, and ADF pipelines.

Build and optimize data pipelines and analytical solutions in Azure Databricks.

Support migration and modernization efforts for enterprise data solutions.

Collaborate on DevOps integration and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

Develop reusable components and ensure alignment with solutioning best practices.

Participate in Agile sprints, technical design discussions, and production deployments.

Preferred Technical Expertise

Autosys jobs, Batch scripting, Agile methodology, and Azure DevOps CI/CD.

Familiarity with Kafka, Solace queue, Azure App Services, Stream Analytics, and Power BI.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
